Dorothy M. Humphrey,born in Zavalla, Texas, April 19, 1932, went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2011.She is survived by her husband- Richard C. Humphrey, daughters- Cheryl Bogart and Page Makrakis; son- James M. Godeke; four grandchildren- Lalanea, Nicole, John, and Nathan; and her sister- Ima Joy Singleton. Dorothy lived a long and vibrant life, doing the things she enjoyed. She was an incredible and graceful dancer, a high scoring bowler, enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was much loved by her family, and will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr., Houston, Texas 77081. A Chapel Servicewill be held at 12:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.Arrangements under the direction of Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, Houston, TX.
