Dorothy Rauschenberg McIntosh

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, John C. McIntosh, her precious sister Florine Melvin Teaff and her beloved daughter Janice Carol McIntosh.

Survived by dear to her heart son John C. McIntosh and his life partner Maureen Maillette, grandson John C Mcintosh III and his mother Mary Masterson McIntosh, great grandsons Fischer Thomson McIntosh and Ian Wallace McIntosh, nephews Michael Melvin and his wife Betinna, their daughters Anna and Sonya, and Patrick Melvin and his wife Cynthia, their daughters Stacy Melvin, Kristen Brittan and son Shane Melvin, and her niece Darla Jacobs. Along with many grand nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was an active member of the Presbyterian church for over 80 years. She and her husband John were founding members of St Paul Presbyterian church in Houston and she has been a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church since March 1972.

Dorothy enjoyed exercising which probably contributed to her long life. She participated in the Houston Senior Olympics racewalking in 1999 and 2000 where she won a silver and a gold medal. She continued to exercise till the last months of her life.
