Dorris is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Jack E. Knight; her parents, Robert L. Pickens and Verna Helen Pickens; and her sisters, Mary Franz and Karla Martin.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Grimley (William D. Grimley, Jr.); her sister, Deborah Geistweidt (John); her brothers, Raymond L. Pickens (Carol) and Mark Pickens (Linda Ammons); her grandchildren, Everett D. Grimley (Carolyn), Lauren E. Grimley, Julianne K. Grimley and Martin F. Grimley; and her great-grandchild, Evelyn Juniper Grimley.
