Douglas Lee Holmes

Douglas was drafted into the Army and served his country in Vietnam. He returned home to Pearland, Texas where he later became an EMT and volunteered for many years.

Douglas was preceded in death by his mother and his older brother, Larry.

He is survived by his father, Richard Holmes; brother, Don Holmes and wife Nancy; sister, JoAnn Daugherty and husband Scott; son, Christian Holmes and wife Brandy; daughter, Caren Hyman and husband Tim; son Mike and wife Melody; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.

Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation with the family at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home & Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, (281) 497-2330, with the funeral service on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home & Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with interment to follow.
