Doyle Shannon Yates, born September 2, 1954, in Smiley, Texas, died January 6, 2015 in Humble, Texas as a result of pneumonia. He is survived by: Wanda Short his companion of 26 years, daughter, Michelle Page; son, Doyle Scott Yates, 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, 4 brothers: Archie, Ronnie, Stanley and Randy, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services are being held at Brookside Funeral Home, Houston, Texas on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 10:30a.m. The ceremony will be conducted by Brother George Elledge of Porter, Texas.
