Dr. Clarence E. "Ducky" Musslewhite Jr., aged 93, peacefully departed this earthly realm and entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2023. A proud native Houstonian, Ducky graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1948 with numerous honors. His educational journey led him to Rice University and later to UT Dental School and graduating in 1955. After receiving his doctorate, Ducky entered the U.S. Air Force and served 4 years.
Ducky married his elementary friend and high school sweetheart, Patsy Richardson, also from Houston. He was an active member of Lakewood Community Church, where he found joy in serving missionaries. Throughout his life, he openly shared his faith, even participating in his baptism at Second Baptist of West Houston at the age of 92.
With a successful dental practice spanning over 60 years in Houston and Memorial, Ducky was able to enjoy practicing dentistry with his youngest son Scott, who preceded him in death in 2023. He is survived by his oldest son, Sam, and his wife Allysoun, along with their four children: Andrew, Samuel, Eileen, and William. His daughter, Judy Reno, and son-in-law, Steve Reno, have two children, Justin and Joel, and daughter-in-law Lindsay, along with his great-grandson Leo.
Ducky cherished his family, including Scott's family, Sue, and their three daughters: Michelle and husband Jacob Snow, and his other great-grandchild, Grayson, as well as Kelly and Amber. His love extended beyond family to include clients and employees, whom he adored.
Though he will be greatly missed, Ducky now enjoys a joyous reunion with his departed family, embracing the presence of Jesus and those he outlived.
