She was born in Pottsboro, Texas on March 23, 1934. She attended school through the 8th grade, and when she was 14 years old, married Charles Lindburg Kemp on November 21, 1948. They were married for 55 years.
Dudley was a mother, housewife, sold Avon, and she also cleaned houses for a living. She was a member of West Conroe Baptist Church, outreach leader for shut ins and worked in the coat closet at Bethel Baptist Church. She was a woman of service to God, her family, and friends. She liked to crochet and she collected wind chimes. She also loved to travel with her best friend, Billie Serio.
She is preceded in death by; her husband, Charles Lindburg Kemp; and parents, Katheryn Hibbard and Dud Hensley.
She is survived by her children; Lynn Kemp, Shannon Hardin, Sharon Tant, Mark Kemp & Marie Harcrow, as well as 14 grand children and 28 great grand children.
