What an incredible friend. Love you my brother. Thank you

I can remember Pastor  Carpenter,  visiting my ill mother, Dorothy Livingston. many a times after leaving church (Greater Zion) on Sunday afternoons.  He held my family together spiritually, unbeknownst to him. Tough times. Perseverance.
May he R.I.P....I know that he and my Mother are sharing jokes in Heaven now.

We have good family memories of Dwayne and we will miss him forever.  May his soul rest with Jesus.  Love you Dwayne.  Carpenter Family

Our prayers are with the family. A wonderful man of God who you could count on to live a life that was righteous. He had a loving and caring personality. He will be truly missed.

I live in Louisiana and when I didn’t have a church home here because of Covid -19 he was my pastor. I enjoyed the sermon every Sunday. Sorry to hear he passed heaven gained an angel

To God be the glory. First Lady Corean,  I send my sincere condolences to you and the entire family. You and Pastor have always been a joy to be around.  He always had a great big smile on his face. We had such wonderful times at Greater Zion. He will be missed, but never forgotten.  Keep the faith and don’t give up.

To my sister in Christ, First Lady Corean and the entire Carpenter family; I did not have a chance to get to know Pastor Dwayne for a long time but felt his genuine love for people when we did meet. Just knowing you, I knew he had to be a great, loving and compassion person. Psalm 30:5 ... weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. I say, cry if you must, let no one tell you not to. Isaiah 30:19 ... you will weep no more. He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will respond instantly to the sounds of your cries. Luke 6:21 ... God blesses you who weeps now, for the time will come when you will laugh with joy. Our God supplies Precious Memories that are worth more than gold. They will get you through.

The day my Uncle Dwayne married Duane and I. We had so much fun that day. I love and miss you very much. The family gatherings won’t be the same but we will press on in your honor. 

Pastor Carpenter had such a genuine heart for God's people.  I remember when he was the Director of Education at St. Luke and he taught me the importance of Christian education and what it means to know who God is. My heart and prayers are with the family. I love them all.

God has given him his Wings to fly away to a place where there's no more sickness.
