

Dwayne Lee Fisher, a man who loved God and was a hard worker, passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 64. Dwayne was born May 6, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas to Leroy Fisher and Alice Britt Fisher, along with three of his siblings, Renaldo Leroy, Vanessa Louise, and Annetta Rene. Later, their mother married Weldon Gene Hatch, a significant and tremendous father figure to these siblings. Dwayne’s father, Leroy Fisher, married and fathered two other siblings: Kinderly Fisher and Kira Fisher Smith. He was raised in a family that instilled in him the values of hard work and faith in God. Dwayne grew up in Clarkston, Georgia, where he graduated from high school and received a degree in Photography.
Dwayne succeeded as a professional photographer as a young man. He was a man of many talents and interests. Later, he gained employment with Smithville Direct for nine years, where he was employed at his death. He was a tireless worker, entrepreneur, and owner of Moonwalk Rentals for over twenty years. Family and friends respected Dwayne for his impeccable character, work ethic, and how he modeled manhood and fatherhood. Still, some of his most significant accomplishments were parenting Marlon White (Nikki), Jason Fisher, and Jaron Fisher with their mother, Mary Janet Fisher.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Dwayne Lee Fisher was married to Claudisnette Fisher. They shared their inseparable love for each other and their children, Leticia Posey (Ryan), Monique Latson, and Amyra Arbuckle. Dwayne’s family was the center of his life, and he always put their needs ahead of his own. Love of family was his supreme joy in life. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren (James Nicholas White, Ashton Eggleton, and Jeremiah Michal Fisher), siblings, cousins that were raised like siblings (Betty Barnes Miles, Sundra Spears, and Sherley Spears), and a host of nieces and nephews.
