I remain so grateful that I had the privilege of meeting and spending time with Dr. Earl and Mrs. Evelyn "Lovie" Beard over the years. They were certainly phenomenal and generous human beings whose legacy lives on with their scholarship support of medical students. Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the future doctors who follow in Beard's footsteps will always be grateful and hopefully pay it forward as well some day. I worked with Dr. Beard during the 1970 thru 1973.  He was what I measured every doctor in the future.  After leaving, I worked beside my husband, Jerry W. Moye in Pediatrics for a long time 43 yrs.  I call him for many family members to neighbors.  He never failed me.  He is with Love now.  Miss you.



I’ve missed Earl’s presence at all the CAMA meetings and his knowledge of cardiology.
