Earle Howell Mowrey

Earle married his loving wife Barbara Anne Smallwood in June of 1958. Vacations with their kids to Florida, Colorado, and his favorite place – Camp Landa in New Braunfels made for many wonderful memories. After raising their four children they enjoyed traveling together to such destinations as Alaska, Mexico, Europe, and all over the U.S.

Earle loved his family spending holidays and vacations together with his children and grandchildren. All of his children and grandchildren were a great source of pride for him. He always loved hearing about what everyone was up to.

Earle enjoyed the many friends he made while working in the natural gas industry for over 50 years. He retired from Texas Eastern in 1989 after 35 years. He worked as a consult for International Gas Consulting from 1991 until 2008.

Earle is survived by Anne, his wife of 55 years, four children son Fred Schmidt and his wife Marian, son Ross and his wife Linda, son Richard and his wife Cheryl and daughter Sharon Roosa and husband Rob. Ten grandchildren, Melinda Schmidt, Christopher Schmidt and his wife Kali, Rachel Mowrey, Andrew Mowrey, Dylan Mowrey, Will Roosa, Lauren Roosa, Logan Mowrey, Sammy Mowrey, and Connor Mowrey. He is also survived by his brother Paul Mowrey and wife Donna as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
