He was born May 8, 1937 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Huey Edward and Olie Mae Barbee. He enjoyed fishing, intricate woodworking, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Jeanette Barbee, his brother Jay Barbee, his sister Joe Ann Millington, his sons Rick Barbee, Kenneth Barbee and Randy Ross. Daughters Valerie Barbee and Teresa Durst, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and a nephew. Ed will be missed greatly by all of his friends and family.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday November 27, 2012 at 3pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Oaks Mausoleum.
