Frances is survived by brother, Donald Ray and wife Judy Ellis; Children, Debra Lynn Rasbury and James Derek and wife Dawn White; 7 Grandchildren; and 19 Great Grandchildren.
Losing our Mother is one of the most difficult hardships we've ever had to go through. That being said, this process has made us realize just how lucky we were to have had a Mother like Frances. Without her example, encouragement, advice and love, We wouldn't be the person we are today. We are eternally grateful for her life as an example for how we should live our own.
From the moment we were born we were on the front porch of a church. Our Mother would have it no other way. She raised Derek and Debra in church. We had a family and we had a Church Family. Church was our second home.
Our Mother set Godly examples in our lives. She taught us about the Lord first and foremost because this is how she lived her own life. She taught us the difference between right and wrong.
Frances lived her life for the Lord. Many times over the years she would say No I don't want to do this or that because I don't believe the Lord would want me to do it.
Our Mom was a Sunday school teacher who taught many children. She was a Girl Scout Leader. She attended Baseball and football games for Derek and Piano recitals for me. Mom sang in the choir at church. She taught us that death was a part of life and that we all have a day to die.
Our Mother also took care of a lot of people when they were sick. She cared for them until the Lord took them home. Most of our mothers friends have already left this world, we consider ourselves fortunate to have had her as long as we did.
Our Mother was a wonderful wife, and a Wonderful Mother who is going to be missed. With that being said today don't grieve for her Rejoice!! She is with our Savior.
Our mom lived life to the fullest right to the end. At the nursing home they referred to her as Miss Frances the Queen bee. She never missed a beat. Our Mom had a big heart. Our Mother was ready to go home and made it no secret. We Rejoice today because she is home!! Hallelujah Praise the Lord.
