Our condolences to his family and his relatives especially his mother and step dad. I was a friend of all the boys and grew up with Eric and Eden. My favorite remembrance of Eden was his love of animals and the many unusual pets we brought home for his mom to see. It might have been a snake found nearby or pigeons brought home from a barn in Pearland TX , or an opossum or raccoon with a fish hook in his nose taken on a road trip in his van to Austin and then to the vet. It was always an adventure traveling with Eden. Water skiing at the bay or deer hunting at the ranch or waterfowl hunting at ridiculously low temperatures in the mud outside Anahuac with Hooper. And the many rainbow trout caught in the White River outside Mountain View Arkansas while camping in tents in the Sylamore National Forest for a week.

Many, many fond memories. Our last visit was in 2017 when we spent about a week with Eden and Christi while traveling through with our motorhome in the Black Hills and beyond. Eden, we will always miss you.

Eden, I’m sitting in your chair outside right now missing the smell of your cigar smoke. I used to hate it and now a days it’s all I want to smell. You weren’t my dad but you were the closest thing i have ever had to one. You showed me how to shoot, get a job, and not take life so seriously. Your one-liners were the best. You opened your home and heart to me and did everything you could to take care of me and build me up. You are the most loving human being I have ever met and I hope your watching from heaven and see how greatly you were loved. Don’t worry I won’t call your max maxi-pad anymore💕 I love you. So much. Rest In Peace💫

Love you Eden. Will miss my fishing buddy forever. A little family fun in Sedona. So many fun memories.

You married my sister on March 19, 1982 and became a beloved member of our family. Every one of us remembers the day we met you. Its is kind of a family legend now!! You are stubborn, you are wicked, you drive me crazy on the freeway and I wanted to smack you most days. Still - you handled having three wives very well. Joni was the wife you talked to, I was your fishing wife and Sue - well you know, she was the one you loved the most! You will live in my heart forever.
