

Edith was born in Kosse, TX January 21, 1922 and lived in the Houston area most of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a charter member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Spring, TX. After the death of her husband, Daniel Charles Schulman, in 1977, Edith spent many years working in the church nursery and preschool. She worked for multiple families caring for children, some of which still kept in touch with her after she moved to California. Edith was known for being kind and loving and for encouraging those around her, even as her health declined over the last few years. She was able to live independently until she was 92.
Edith Schulman was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Schulman, and her son, Lonnie Charles Schulman. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Smith (Splendora, TX) her only living son, Mel Schulman (San Mateo, CA) and by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Brookside Funeral Home in Houston, TX on Sunday April 3rd at 3:00PM, preceded by visitation and viewing at 2:00PM. Interment will be at Brookside Memorial Park following the service, where Edith will be buried next to her husband, Dan.
