Edward is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Bettie Ann Blackburn; son, Edward E. Blackburn, Jr.; daughter, Bonnie O'Connor; three grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Shelly; great-grandchildren, James and Austin.
A graveside service for Edward will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 at 9:45 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038.
