Edward is survived by his wife Mary; son Eddie Jr and wife Christy of Alexandria, VA; son Matt and wife Marissa of Pearland, TX; their grand-children Wright and Atticus; his mother Delia, and his siblings Carolyn Johnston, David Castro, and Andrew Castro, all of Houston, TX. He is preceded in death by his father Carlos.
Edward was born on November 15, 1959 in Houston, TX to Carlos and Delia Castro. He married Mary Castro in 1980 and over a period of 3 years the couple welcomed 2 sons into their home. He was a loving husband, father, and grand-father who enjoyed coaching soccer for his sons as they grew up. He also taught them the value of laughter and a love of cats. Most recently he worked for CBRE as a security supervisor. He loved to spend his free time reading Stephen King and true crime.
A viewing is scheduled for March 28th from 5:00-8:00 pm and a funeral service is scheduled for March 29th at 10:00 am, both of which will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Edward's life.
