Edward Martinez, born on August 3, 1963, passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 62. A resident of Houston, Texas, Edward was known for his dedication and service both in his professional and personal life.
Edward attended Sam Houston High School and furthered his education at Sam Houston Community College. His career was marked by his service in the US Army, where he demonstrated commitment and valor. Following his military service, Edward excelled as a Journeyman Plumber for Local Union 68 and Local Union 286.
Edward was married to Cynthia Martinez for 20 years. He is survived by his father, Angel Martinez, and leaves behind a legacy through his 7 children and 12 grandchildren. His memory will also be cherished by his 15 brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek, located at 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095, on August 20, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Edward will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his community, and his country. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
