Effie Hermina Skrhak

Effie Hermina Skrhak, 95 entered into eternal life on Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Rockwall, Texas. Effie was the dearly loved wife of Joe Frank Skrhak, a veteran of the United States Navy. She leaves in God's care, her youngest brother, Bernard Pekar; a multitude of nieces and nephews she loved dearly as her own; along with other relatives and friends left to cherish her memories. She is reunited with her husband, Joe, and their daughter, Mary; her parents; her brothers, Joe, Andrew, and Frank; her sisters, Henrietta, Hattie, Mary Ann, and Hermina.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 6:30-9:30pm, with the Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman St., 77018. Effie will await the resurrection at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Special thanks Effie's neighbors who are like family.
