Elaine and I were close in age, and I helped just a bit with founding Sugar Land Area Artists. Her talent and dedication far outstripped mine. My love and sympathy go to her growing family and especially to her two daughters, Margaret and Barbara, the only members I know. Her family and the Sugar Land Area Artists have lost their Matriarch.

It was a privilege to know Elaine. She was "one of a kind" and I don't expect to meet her like any time soon. Gloria Moore
