Elizabeth D. Gutierrez, age 63, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. She graduated from Jefferson Davis Highschool in 1977 and worked for Harris County for 23 years. Elizabeth loved to travel and was the life of the party. She had a contagious unique laugh that could be spotted
Elizabeth is survived by her spouse, Rudolph V. Gutierrez; her daughter Linda Hernandez (Joseph Hernandez); her son Rudolph Gutierrez Jr. (Diana Lopez); and her daughter Aleczandria Gutierrez (Julio Cervantes); her sister Vera Young, her brother Alejandro Davila Jr., her sister Sylvia Davila, her sister Rosie Vega, her sister Monica Davila Lopez, her sister Carol MacDonald and her sister Anita Sesar; her grandchild Joseph Hernandez Jr., her grandchild Arian Hernandez, her grandchild Jo'linn Hernandez, her grandchild Rosalie Cervantes and her grandchild Madelyn Cervantes.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother Carlota Davila; her father Alejandro Davila and her father in law Joseph Gutierrez; her sister Estelle Guzman.
A visitation for Elizabeth D. Gutierrez will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77022. A rosary service will occur Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77022. A visitation will occur Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77022. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 501 Tidwell Rd., Houston, Texas 77022. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
