Ellen Marie Moskal

Ellen Marie Doerr Moskal, 98, of Houston, passed away on June 22, 2023 in Houston, TX.

Ellen Marie Doerr was born in Caldwell to Cuno John Doerr and Lena Weiderhold Doerr on March 2, 1925. She went to school in Caldwell and graduated from Caldwell High School. She married Milton Stanley Moskal on April 24, 1946 at Moravian Brethern church in Caldwell. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister and wife. She was of the American Lutheran faith attended services regularly and liked to knit and crochet as a hobby. She also always loved African violets, became involved in the local African violet club and served as a national judge for the African Violet Society of America, Inc.

She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she has touched.

Ellen Doerr Moskal is preceded in death by Milton Stanley Moskal (husband) passed on May 24, 2016, Millie Gerdes (sister) and Lee Doerr (brother).

Ellen Moskal is survived by Children; Milton Stanley Moskal, Jr., Howard Leslie Moskal, and Kenneth Wayne Moskal Sister; Lois Gower and Grandchildren; Leslie Moskal Woods, Emily Christine Moskal, Shane Davis and Nicole Leonard
