May God bless your heart during this hard time, Ms. Evelyn and Gunnels family. Your family became a big part of my life over the years I cared for Mr.Gunnels. Actually of all the people I've cared for Mr.Gunnels was the most caring, loving, and down to earth. I also can't forget intelligent because each morning he had a new history question to ask me. Mr. Gunnels will forever be missed. May he rest in perfect peace.

A visionary and great leader. I overheard him telling a co-worker " What do you call an Aggie after he has graduated" I do not know. "Boss" answered Ellis.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Phil and family,
I am sorry to hear of Ellis' death. He was a man of great vision and it was a pleasure to be a part of the many things he created at Texaco. I have very fond memories of our first foray into NASCAR with the Allison's and the Indy Car circuit with Tom Sneva. Ellis also made many trips with us to evaluate future technologies that we used to automate the service stations and other downstream assets. He was a great leader and a great man. May the Holy Spirit grant you peace and comfort...
