My Grandpa was a great man he showed me that you can do anything you what to do.So I got in to law and Enforcement just like him.He was so proud of me when I got my certification I heard him crying over the phone.I will miss him forever but I know he is in a better place

Elmer and I went through the HPD Academy class #21 together.. When we graduated we were both assigned to the Accident Division... I don't think we ever rode together as partners.. As time passed, transfers and promotions lead us in different divisions and didn't see much of each other.. Elmer was a great guy and a great police officer..

We've lost one of the most wonderful people we have ever had the privilege to know. He and Barbara were such wonderful friends to us. We'll miss him terribly but take comfort he's now with his Lord and Savior. You meet someone of Buddy's character once in a lifetime and we're so fortunate to have known him and call him friend. RIP.........

I knew Elmer when I worked out of Central in the early seventies. He always had something pleasant to say to everyone around him. It was an honor to have served with him. May God be with his family during this difficult time.

I will never forget you, I know that you were met by momma, dad, & Carolyn were there along with Grandpa Taylor. What a reunion you all are having and what celebration Heaven is having now, celebrating Jesus Birthday. You were a great brother in law and I will never forget everything you did for Mom, Dad and our family. You were such a giving good hearted person. How honored I was when you walked down the isle when I got married as daddy was unable to walk after his stroke. You were a great dad to Kenneth & David, very hard worker. You served our country in Army & got out and then went to work for HPD over 20 plus years and then gave more years of service to HCS.. very dedicated law enforcer & all your years working for Houston Oilers & Houston Astros, as well the Houston Live Stock show over 15 yrs. You just never stopped until you forced to due to your health. I hope I can work till I am 75 yrs. Buddy, We are going to miss you more than you will know. I guess when I get to Heaven you'll have my special shoes ready for me. Hopefully you'll have about 30 yrs to get them ready for me. So glad you are no longer ill and Now have a new healthy body & mind. Love you & Forever in Our Hearts. Heaven Got Another Angel who I know will be protecting & watching over Us.
