Elois Oliver, age 99 passed away June 25, 2024. Elois was born March 5, 1925 in Center Texas to William Miller and Lonie (Baker) Miller. She was the first child of sixteen. She was raised in an era of hard work and deprivation. Being the eldest child, Elois, had a major role in the raising of her younger siblings and carrying out many of the family duties. Whatever role she was carrying out, she always made sure that her siblings knew they were loved.
Elois had a deep love for her family. Her passion was evident by her producing two family genealogy binders. Her devotion for her family continued by her caring for her family members. In addition, ultimately taking great care of her mother, Lonie Miller, during her mother’s last year of life.
Elois loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Her love was visible by her well worn Bible, which she read through multiple times throughout her life. She was a member of Lindale Assembly of God Church. She attended services there faithfully until she was not able to drive.
Elois would want you to know that Jesus is the truth, the life, the door, and that no man comes to the father except through him.
She would want you to know that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for the atonement of your sins. Furthermore, that you can have eternal life through Jesus.
There is more to be said about Elois at her funeral service.
