My dearest brother Eloy. I'm going to miss you at all of the Holidays, Birthdays, Special Occasions, watching boxing, watching you playing poker with the guys. Every time the Astros or Texans lose, I can still hear you getting upset, lol win or lose always a Houston fan. You fought a hard fight and to me you will always be My Champ. You never gave up. You can finally breathe again. Please watch over us brother. Until we see each other again, I Love You my Brother!!!

Our families spent years together on that football field. Eloy always had a smile on his face then, and when we saw each other around the neighborhood it was there as well. Even though we weren't as close after football, we still thought of him as a great friend and will miss him. To Diana and the kids, we love you, and will be here whenever you need us.

Our deepest condolences to the Elizondo family and his extended family. Our families grew up on the same street on Ave K. I remember spending a lot of weekends playing in the streets of our neighborhood. Eloy’s life has been taken way to soon but he is no longer suffering with the horrible disease! RIP my Friend! Until we meet again!
