Elsie Mae Broussard

Elsie Mae Broussard, 76, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 in Houston , Texas. She was born February 7, 1940 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Joseph and Mary Pitre. She is survived by her daughters Doris Whitehead, Brenda Bryant, Elizabeth Broussard and sons, Lawrence Broussard Jr and wife Laquita, and Mark Broussard. She is also survived by sisters, Josephine Broussard, Joyce Woods, Emelda Woods, twenty- two grandchildren, and twenty great- grandchildren.

Mrs. Broussard was preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence Broussard, daughters, Linda Broussard, Laura Broussard, Sheila Burkes and son Paul J. Broussard.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Chapel, 1015 Federal Rd. Houston, Texas 77015. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 10:30 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church 1401 Fidelity St. Houston, Texas 77029. The family will have a visitation and rosary Saturday prior to the mass. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
