I will always remember my smiling glamorous cousin. Always an elegant beautiful lady. I remember her as a child at our great grandmothers house. She made it a beautiful home. We just reconnected months ago and I can’t believe she’s gone I will miss her terribly. Love and prayers to the family. ❤️🙏🏽

My good friend.

Elsie was a great friend whom we loved dearly, and have always kept in touch with. Even if I had to call her 20 times, I kept calling until I was able to reach her. Her nickname for me was "Cookaloo". It never bothered me at all when she called me that because she was my friend. I am so grateful she reached out to me and my mom while hospitalized, not knowing that it would be our last conversation. She really loved and was very proud of her family, (Mudea, Sherrie, Tony, grandsons, Henry, and so many others) you were always a part of the conversations we had. I still can't believe Elsie is gone, I will truly miss laughing and talking with her. Rest in peace my good friend, I will see you again. Family, we will keep you all in our prayers, asking the Lord to give you comfort and strength.
Much love,

Mrs. Virgie Handsborough &

Elsie was one of the nicest people you could hope to meet. We worked together in the industry and I always enjoyed working with and talking to Elsie. I know that she is rejoicing in Heaven with her mother and brother, whom she was still mourning at the end. Elsie will be missed and the world is a tiny bit less bright since she earned her wings.
