Elvis Thomas Anderson Jr. "Tom" Anderson, , 78, was born May 10, 1934 to Elvis Thomas and Hettie O'Day Anderson in Houston, Texas and passed away December 17, 2012. Tom was preceeded in death by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Jo Anderson. Tom is survived by his son Elvis (Tommy) Thomas Anderson, III, his daughter-in-law Pam Anderson, and two grandsons, Cameron Anderson and Collin Anderson. He graduated from Lamar High School in 1952, and the University of Houston in 1957. Tom was an architect. He began his career with J.L. Phillips, designing homes, but spent most of his career with Brown and Root, from where he retired in 2000. He was a member of The Cavaliers and a founding member of Sigma Nu Fraternity at the University of Houston. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home located at 12800 Westheimer, Houston.
