

Emerick Joseph Warren, "Rick" "Pop" passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18th, 2020. He was 95 years old. Emerick was baptized in Marksville, Louisiana at a young age and he was dedicated to his Roman Catholic faith and was active steward in the church.
Emerick was in the United States Army and United States Airforce and received a honorable discharge.
Emerick was employed as a mechanic technician and supervisor at Bell South Telephone Company in New Orleans Louisiana for thirty three years. Emerick also worked in various aspects for the Hartson and Wallet family of New Orleans, Louisiana for over thirty five years.
Emerick was an avid fisherman and spent time fishing and boating with his sons and friends. He was also active in area social clubs.
Emerick was a hard worker, proud father and a very good provider to his family. His smile, charm, love and unselfish sharing and giving spirit, will be missed by his family and friends and the many others who lives he touched along the way.
Emerick and his sister, Patricia sometimes shared reflections and memories of how they grew up with their parents and siblings, you could tell, no doubt family was important.
In his leisure time he liked watching the New Orleans Saints football team, Tiger Woods golfing and various other programs on television. He liked a variety of music including religious and Elvis Presley selections.
Emerick enjoyed good eats with his family, fried chicken, fresh seafood, oxtails, barbeque and cornbread were some of his favorites. He looked forward to attending and celebrating at his and others birthday parties and attending family gatherings.
Emerick was popular and well-liked by his peers and neighbors. He went for many walks in his neighborhood. He was still able to drive until 91 years old.
Emerick leaves to cherish his life and legacy his sister, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grand children and a host of family and friends.

Emerick Warren, age 95, of Conroe, Texas passed away on Monday May 18, 2020. Emerick was born November 20, 1924 in Marksville, Louisiana to Delphine S.Warren and Daniel Warren.
Emerick, an Army Veteran who proudly served his country, is survived by; sister Patricia Warren Simon (James); daughter Beverly Warren Wilcox; son Emerick Warren Jr. (Elaine); daughter Rose Marie Warren Gordon; daughter Jennifer Warren Tutt (Daniel); son Earl Phillip Warren Sr. (Ramona); son Richard David Warren; daughter Cecile Warren Edmond; daughter Della Mae Warren; son Timothy John Warren Sr. (Rebakah); son Theodore Peter Warren; daughter Geneva Inez Warren; and son David Christopher Warren (Dara). He will be remembered by his grandchildren; Robbie, Nicholas, Nicole, Rachel, Steve, Derrick, Dominic, David, Lisa, Rosalind, Karen, Everick, Paul, Toni, Tasha, LaToya, Timika, Yvonne, Earl Jr., Omar, Tamera, Lloyd, Teresa, Ricky, Thaddeus, Corey, Shawn, Teddy, Sammie, Michael, Stanley, Cabrini, Crystal, Michelle, Janell, Jonathan, Timothy Jr., Whitney, Jacques, Larry, Dorian, Willie, Cache, Courtney, Cejeune, Deokin, Yasmin, Alliyah, Alan, and Mia.
Emerick was preceded in death by his spouse's Geneva Esther Greenhouse Warren and Barbara West Warren; father Daniel Warren and mother Delphine S. Warren; brother John Warren; brother Daniel Warren Jr.; brother Paul Warren; brother Bernard Warren; sister Evelyn Warren Greenhouse; sister Willie Mae Warren Craig and sister Dorothy Warren Robinson.
Mr. Emerick Warren also leaves behind a legacy of over 50 grandchildren and over 80 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy. Houston, TX 77022, on Friday May 29 from 12-3PM. We kindly ask all of our guest to please observe social distancing and wear a face mask when coming in.
