Memaw...The teacher you were...cooking, being a mother, being a grandmother...loving me unconditional.  The summers swimming with virginia and her granddaughters and randy...Shopping....sooo much fun.  Seeing you sunday before you passed you opened your blue eyes and raised to hold my hand...beautiful. I know you heard me and knew i was there.  That love and memory will always be.  I know you are loving my grandson Louis III, that was my request when you went to heaven, you would give him the biggest hug and kiss a "MEME" could give.  I miss him and I will miss you.  I know you are in a better place and suffering no more.  Always in my heart and prayers.  Take care of my little man. Till we meet again. Love always, your granddaughter.

I'm sorry for the passing of Memaw. From what I knew of her she was a great lady. She will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with ya'll

Elizabeth was Mother's best friend. For more than sixty decades they laughed, danced, celebrated and mourned together. They taught us how to live with integrity, grace, curiosity and enthusiasm. My fondest memory is myself (Ernest Soukup) and all my cousins spending Christmas Eve at her house with the entire family and waiting on Santa.  She will truly be missed, we love you Mee Maw and will never forget you.
