Emmett Harry Daniel Jr., was born on February 17, 1938, and passed away on May 2, 2017. He graduated from Lutheran High School in 1956, and had a lifetime career in oil and gas industry. Emmett was also a member of Faith Lutheran Church where he served as a Trustee since 1973. He is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years, Leslie Earline Kirkland; daughter, Leslie Elaine Amerman and her husband, Larry; his son, Emmett H. Daniel III, and his wife Donna; his sister, Leta Branum; and 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. There will be a visitation on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 2pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home., and a funeral service on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church with a committal to follow at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Cemetery.
