He was born in Houston, Texas on January 20, 1979.

He is preceded in death by Enrique Velasquez (paternal grandfather in Houston, Texas), (Guadalupe Velasquez (paternal grandmother in Houston, Texas), Jueventino Silva (maternal grandfather in General Teran, Mexico), Maria Cantu (maternal grandmother in General Teran, Mexico), Enrique Velasquez (Father in Houston, Texas), Lourdes Velasquez (Mother in Houston, Texas).

Enrique Velasquez graduated from Douglas Mac Arther High School and received an Associate of Science from North Harris College.

He was married to Claudia Orozco Velasquez on January 6, 2007.

Enrique "Quique" Velasquez worked/had a career in Supply Chain Management for Solvay Chemicals, Lyondell Basell, Koch, Lamons Gasket,Dooley Tacraberry and Riviana Foods.

He was a member of Grace Church and had a passion for baseball, golfing, BBQ catering, traveling, family time, and playing with his dogs.

He was survived by Claudia Orozco Velasquez (wife), Luis Rene Velasquez (brother), Lourdes Etanislado (sister), and Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, and Aunts.

A public visitation will occur Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, Texas 77039.
