He was preceded in death by his father, Donald A. Schelat, and is survived by his mother, Mary Lois Schelat, and wife, Deborah Lowry Schelat, both of Houston, TX; brother, Thomas A. Schelat, of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Amy Rothrock, of Cypress, TX; and brother, Donald D. Schelat, of Montgomery, TX.
A memorial service will be held at on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 2:00pm at The Concierge, 2310 South Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX, 77077.
