Erica Francine Deborah Owolabi was born in Houston, Tx on February 19, 1990 and transitioned peacefully on October 25, 2020 in her home in Inglewood, California. Francine’s homegoing service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:00am at Paradise Funeral Home and Paradise Cemetery North. Francine attended private and public school in the Houston area where she graduated from Klein Forest High School. Francine was an avid dancer and artist. She loved music. Studied at Clark Atlanta University and Atlanta School of Real Estate. She was the production assistant at World Surf League and the production coordinator at Black Girls Surf to present. As a youth she loved to attend summer bible schools and made her profession for Christ early in her teenage years. Francine was an avid traveler. She loved traveling with her daughter Aryn to many different countries and seeing the world. She was a creative and ingenious spirit. She took on a mission to feed homeless people, making sure they had blankets and food in the winter. She loved helping write recipes. She was a foodie who loved many different cultures of food and cooking herself. Francine leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Erica McGee and her father, Francis Owolabi, her young daughter, Aryn Dunlap, her twin sister, Erika Frances Owolabi, sister, Christen Owolabi, little sister, Elizabeth Owolabi, sister Markesha Clark Shelvin one brother, John Charles McGee, three nieces, Mariah, Jordyn, and Cali and two nephews, King and Amir whom she loved greatly. Aunt, Eartha Owolabi, Aunt, Shannon McGee (Mississippi), Aunt, Etta McGee, Aunt, Diane Gamble, Uncle, Eddie McGee, Uncle, Edwin McGee and special cousins, Jovett Hampton, Katrina Gamble, Edwina Gamble, Raven Keys (Mississippi), Renard Shelvin and a host of other relatives and numerous friends. Erica Francine was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norma Jean Antoine, Eddie McGee and David Owolabi and Deborah Owolabi and Uncle Elmo Herron.
