He was a member of Tejano Veterans Association and had a passion for baseball.
He is survived by his Children, Michelle Soza and Nolan Soza; Grandchildren, Aundre Echols, Adrian Echols, and Darius Green; Great grandson, Adonis Echols; and Siblings, Paz Soza, Lily Lopez, Raymond Soza, and Ana Soza.
A visitation will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home, located at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, on February 2, 2026, from 10:15 am to 11:15 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm.
The committal service will take place at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, on February 2, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm. Following the committal service, a reception will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
