Esteban Martinez Fernandez went to be with his Lord on July 9, 2017. He was born on September 26, 1950 in Seguin, Texas to parents Andrea and Marcelo H. Fernandez. Esteban was preceded in death by his father, Marcelo H. Fernandez and sister, Noemi F. Lievanos. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Margarita G. Fernandez; three children, Mathilda Gonzales and husband Jesus, Esteban Fernandez and wife Katherine Daniels, Neomi Garcia and husband Erick; nine grandchildren, Annette Gonzales, Jesus Gonzales Jr., Jasper Gonzales, Angel Fernandez, Ariel Fernandez, Aysa Fernandez, Alexis Fernandez, Annisty Fernandez, Kalani Garcia; two sisters, Connie F Gutierrez and husband Ray, Ruth Rodriguez and husband Moises; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM; and a funeral service Friday, July 14, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home; followed by a burial at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial 77038.
