Esteban, “Steve” was born on November 5, 1946, in Sugar Land, Texas, to Rebecca Maldonado and Esteban Ramos Galvan Sr.
Steve devoted many years of his life to his career as a truck driver, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. After many years on the road, he retired in 2012.
In November 2000, Steve married his beautiful wife, Henrietta Galvan. Together, they blended their families and built a life filled with love, laughter, and many cherished memories throughout their 25 years of marriage.
Steve was a man who knew how to enjoy life. He loved deep-sea fishing, playing pool with his buddies, and spending time at his favorite ice house or the VFW down the road. He especially loved dressing sharply in his Stacy Adams, crisp dress shirt and pants, and matching fedora hat. Those who knew Steve knew they could always count on him to crack a joke, share a laugh, and keep things light. His sense of humor and fun-loving personality will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Above all, Steve loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His daughters, Sara Galvan, Christina Galvan, and Stephanie Chavez, along with his stepchildren, Raymond Flores Jr., Robert Flores, Diana Solis, Veronica Delagarza, Renee Flores, and John Flores, each held a special place in his heart. One of Steve’s greatest joys was being a grandfather and great-grandfather, and he treasured the time, laughter, and memories he shared with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Steve will be forever remembered for his humor, his love for his family, the friendships he made throughout his life, and the laughter he brought to those around him. His stories, jokes, and admirable personality will live on through the many memories shared by those who knew and loved him.
