Estella Tamayo Carrizal, 54, was born August 24, 1964 in Houston, Texas to parents Antonio Cortez and Guadalupe Cortez. Estella went to be with her Lord on December 2, 2018. On June 1, 2013, she married Robert Carrizal. Estella had a passion for baking, and according to her family, she was the "best baker" of all things sweet, especially brownies. She loved playing cards, going gambling and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memories are: husband Robert Carrizal; son Victor Tamayo and his wife April Morales and their children Aidan, Ethan, Mason, Noah and Aubri, Ava, Benji; daughter Amanda Padilla and her husband Jose Padilla and their children Brandon, Adylen , and Madalyn; and 10 siblings.

The family will receive friends and family for visitation on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral service will be on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home.
