Esther Anguiano

January 4, 1942June 30, 2020

Esther Anguiano, age 78, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday June 30, 2020. Esther was born January 4, 1942 to parents Julio and Hilaria Anguiano.

Esther worked with TDHS until her retirement. As Esther would say, she was going to live her life to the fullest, slowing down and relaxing. She spent quality time with her family, spending weeks at a time with her daughters, sister and brothers at their homes. Esther became involved in her senior citizens programs, which she loved. She enjoyed running the streets to all the thrift stores, but most of all she loved her IPad, which she never ever put down.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Hilaria Anguiano, brother Mario and grandchildren Greg Anthony and Alicia Carolina. Left to cherish her memory are daughters: Veronica, Patricia, Pamela, and Esther; grandchildren: Stefanie, Vince, Edward, Nico, Paul Michael, Erica, Kristina, Thomas, Erik, Rick, Matthew, Emma, JJ, Noah, Mia, and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings: Julio, Juan, and Marylou and last but not least, numerous nieces and nephews.

Esther was loved and will truly be missed.

Tia Esther - Personally for me Thank You for being YOU!! For always watching over my mom at NAM - though she didn't remember your name most of the time, she would tell me "that lady" loves to shop, just like me!! And for JJ, he remembers driving on 59 going home from a hard days work and traffic was "horrendous" and he said what the heck is going on who's driving so slow and when he passed the car - it was YOU! He said to himself aye Aunt Esther. But for both of us, you will truly be missed, we will miss picking you up and taking you to see your brother Julio and the conversations we would have. Rest in Peace Tia... We will always Luv U Chingos!

We have many happy memories of times spent with Esther. On her visits to Florida she loved to go to thrift stores and garage sales , sometimes she got in trouble because she had a mountain of stuff to fit in the car when kids came to pick her up . One funny memory was when we went to a Halloween party , I dressed her up as a witch , made her a big wart on the nose and as the evening went on she was so hot that the wart slowly slid down and just hung at the tip of her nose . Another time in Tennessee we went to a restaurant in the country and you had to catch a fish if you wanted to have one . Juan and I caught ours very quickly, poor Esther couldn’t catch one , she had a bunch of people cheering her on before she finally caught her fish . She was the hit of the night and we all had a good laugh, including Esther . We sure will miss her , she was such a kind , warmhearted person and we loved her dearly . RIP sweet Esther !!
Our condolences to her children and all the family , you are in our prayers .
