Ethel M. Miller

Ethel M. Miller, AKA, Ethel, Mom, Granny was born on December 31, 1922 to Anatole and Hilda Dore' in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She entered into eternal life on Friday, August 14, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Ethel was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and was a devoted mother and friend. Ethel is reunited with her husband Billy R. Miller; 3 infant babies; parents; Anatole and Hilda Dore' and brother, Serven Dore'. Ethel leaves to cherish fond memories; her son, Deen Miller and wife Loretta; her daughter Nora Ivey; daughter Denise Phillips and husband Malcolm; grandchildren, Ryan Postell, Raymond Deen Miller II and wife Frances, Glenn Ivey and wife Jenny, James Phillips, Lance Phillips and wife Andrea, Allison Phillips Stewart and husband Lucas; great grandchildren, Danielle Postell, Raymond Deen Miller III, Glenn Ford Ivey, Claries Ivey, Emma Phillips, Lily Phillips, Noelle Phillips, Hunter Phillips, Finley Phillips, Skylar N Phillips, Amelia J Stewart, Leverett J Stewart and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitations with Ethel will be held on Wednesday evening, August 19, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with the praying of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Garden at Pat H. Foley & Company, 2100 W 34th, Houston, TX 77018.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman St, Houston, TX 77018.

Ethel will be laid to rest next to her husband Billy R. Miller at Houston National Cemetery at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas promptly at 2:00 pm. In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 6301 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77057
