Ethel S. Swearingen, passed away March 1, 2010 in Channelview, TX and joined her beloved husband, Arthur Swearingen. Ethel grew up in Daisetta, TX where she met and married her devoted husband of 57 years, Arthur “Cuz” Swearingen. During WWII at the age of 17, she worked on the assembly line making B-17 Bombers while Arthur served as a Military Policeman. They loved to travel and spend time with their family. Left to cherish her memory are her sons she loved dearly, James and Bobby Swearingen and two grandsons, that brought much joy to her life, Justin Arthur Swearingen and Jack Matthew Swearingen; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, March 5th from 5-8PM at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 12:30PM, Saturday, March 6th at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
