Eugene Elbert LaFleur, born August 2, 1940, passed away peacefully at home with his family on May 27, 2012. He retired in 1995 from the Port of Houston after 26 years. Gene was preceded in death by his infant son, Brian Keith, and is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Marie Helen LaFleur; children Greg LaFleur, Tammy Acton, Melanie LaFleur, Scott LaFleur, Genie LaFleur-Gonzalez, Lisa Elizarraraz and Ida Elizarraraz; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
