Eugenio T. Salazar, age 76 passed away on Friday September 7, 2018. Eugenio was born November 15, 1941 in Calvert, Texas to San Juana and Guadalupe Salazar. He enjoyed spending his time outside listening to music and was a fan of the Houston Astros.
Eugenio was preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and San Juana Salazar; son Eugene Alfred Salazar;daughter Barbara Ann Salazar; siblings Lupe, Gloria, Margarita, Mike and Graciela.
Eugenio is survived by his wife of 56 years Virginia Salazar; daughters Jacqueline (Jesse) Martinez and Victoria Salazar; son Steven (Connie) Salazar; daughter-in-law Lupe Salazar; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren whom will forever cherish on his loving memories.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 5p.m. to 9p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7p.m. at Crespo Funeral Home, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A funeral mass will be held Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrow, 3006 Kashmere St., Houston, TX 77026. Committal service to follow at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
