I only had the pleasure and honor of meeting Mrs. Shackelford once.  I had the opportunity to observe the unconditional love between her and her granddaughter Nakia.  It was a beautiful experience to behold.  Through Nakia, I learned of what a wonderful and devoted life Mrs. Shackelford lived, and how she nurtured, developed, strengthened, motivated and inspired her family and those she loved.  Rest in eternal piece.  Your life was a blessing to so many.

Mrs. Roberson was a tough lady.  One of my memories is when we would  play football and always one rule was to not run into her yard, and we tried not to but sometime we would and she would let us have it with some choice words.
