Evaristo Reyes, 87 of Houston, Texas was born July 12, 1936 in El Campo, Texas to Leandro and Guadalupe (Ochoa) Reyes and passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to his loving family, he enjoyed dressing up in his suits whenever he could, always looking his best. He was very crafty and was a carpenter and a musician.
He is survived by his children, Evaristo Reyes Jr, Janie Reyes, Hector Reyes and Mickey Reyes; grandchildren, Matthew Reyes and Monica Reyes and husband, Carlos Cortez and great-grandchildren, Eviana Cortez, Alina Cortez and Marielle Cortez, his sisters, Natividad Reyes, Maria Pender and Paula Romero.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leandro and Guadalupe Reyes and his 7 brothers and sisters. He is also being reunited with his loving wife who passed away in March of 2021, Lupe Reyes.
