So sorry to hear of  Evelyn's passing. She was like a second mom to me back when Glen and I  were best friends. I'll always remember 
watching Neil Armstrong taking his famous first steps late at night from the Kratochvil living room.

So sorry to hear of Aunt Evelyn's passing. So many years since seeing either of you. If ever I needed to provide a definition of a lady, Aunt Evelyn is the first person that would come to mind, and what a beautiful lady she is to me still. Always loved her, always will.
 It is especially painful to learn of her passing only this past Thursday when Wednesday morning we left my daughter, Alicia's, house in Missouri City at 10 headed back to Oklahoma.
 God's grace and comfort be with you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Evelyn's passing. Rick has kept us informed about her health problems of late. Boy, what a strong lady to endure so much! I'll never forget how Dad and she would tease each other - the twinkle in her eyes was priceless!

Evelyn was a very special woman in my life. I considered Glenn and her my special friends as I went through high school with the two of them across the street from my house to visit with. I moved into that house when I was 3, and I'm lucky to be able to say that I can't remember not knowing the Kratochvils. Evelyn was a wonderful friend, neighbor, and grandmotherly figure for me. To Glenn, your children and Kimberly: my heart goes out to you, and I know that Evelyn's beautiful soul will live on through you. Evelyn-thank you for blessing me with your kindness and always smiling face every time we talked!

Heartfelt condolences from Linda and I.  In the military, every time we were transferred to a new duty assignment it was called a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move.  I prefer to think that Evelyn has PCS'd to a new duty assignment and is busy  visiting with those who have gone before and getting things ready for those who will join her in the future. Though the loss of my "Nana" has been difficult, I take comfort in knowing she is my Guardian Angel now.  She was so much more than a Grandmother to me.  She was my friend, my mentor and my guiding light.  Nana was truly a Southern Belle and taught me how to be a lady.  We shared some of the best times of my life together, from shopping together to cooking meals together.  I will never forget how much she love the color pink and her passion for chocolate. If I wanted to see her face light up, I would bring her a magazine and a Snickers candy bar.  Sometimes we would even hide the "evidence" before the men in the family arrived home.  I still hear her laughter filling the room, she could always find humor in any situation.  She taught me how to be a Christian by leading through example.  Nana's legacy will live on forever and I am truly honored to be this lovely lady's Grandaughter.  I ask everyone to please celebrate Nana's life and cherish the gifts she has given us so freely.

I only knew her Evelyn thru Kim-and from what Kim told me-Evelyn was a wonderful lady and will be missed.  My thoughts are with the family.  But you should know-she is watching over all of you and wanting you to know-she is great.. Luv ya, Brenda Coneley

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Evelyn's passing and the sadness you must feel.  Rick has kept me informed about her medical struggles so I am also glad that she is no longer suffering.  I have fond memories of her laughter, humor, and sharing stories that we always found entertaining.  I also remember how much she loved you all and that will be missed.
I am currently vacationing with my family in Puerto Vallarta but am glad that I have email access.  I wish you the best and will keep you all in my prayers as you go through these difficult times.
