Everett Ronald Short was born January 20, 1952 in Lufkin, Texas and passed away August 22, 2020 in Houston, Texas. Ronald attended Texas A & M University and earned a BS degree in Industrial Engineering in December 1974. He was a practicing professional Engineer and Registered Professional Appraiser.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, John Vernon Short and Luprell Keller Short. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Buckner Short; daughter, Carolyn Wood (Chris), and their son, Thomas Vernon Short (Loren); brother John Edward Short (Janice). He had 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Ron had numerous extended family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
