Fang Xu

Fang Xu (1958-2024) was born in Shanghai in 1958. He grew up with his parents in Baiyin, Gansu Province. After graduating from university in Qingdao, Shandong, he worked and lived in Xuzhou, Jiangsu until he retired at the age of 60. After living in Houston, Texas, USA for 5 years, he left us peacefully and returned to heavenly home on August 16th, 2024.

He is survived by his devoted wife Baorong Wang; his daughter Huiwen Xu and husband Jiahong Weng; his grandchildren Albert Weng and Alvin Weng.

Fang Xu was brilliant and diligent in his career and also a man of many passions. He played French horn in his high school symphony orchestra and he was interested in all kinds of sport games. He loved to be with his family and enjoyed time together with his friends. He loved traveling with family and friends and went to all kinds of symphony concerts.

Fang Xu’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a man who embraced life with passion and grace.

徐放（1958-2024），1958年5月15日出生于上海，后随父母至甘肃白银长大, 于山东青岛上大学毕业后，至江苏徐州工作生活直到60岁退休。后于美国德州休斯顿生活5年，于2024年8月16日安详的离开了我们去天家。

他的家人有妻子王保荣，女儿徐慧雯和女婿翁佳翃，外孙翁梓竣和翁梓铭。

徐放在事业上是成功与勤勉的，同时也有着广泛的爱好。他在高中交响乐队担任圆号手，并且对各类体育运动都颇有兴趣。他喜爱跟家人在一起并且也享受与朋友相聚的时光。他热爱同家人和朋友一起旅游，也会经常去欣赏各种交响乐团演奏。

徐放的记忆将永远留在那些认识他的人心中，他是一个充满爱心的丈夫、父亲、外祖父，以及一位以热情和优雅拥抱生活的人。
