Felipe de Jesus Peña

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great great grandfather, Felipe de Jesus Peña, at the age of 85. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 6, 2025.

A man of unwavering strength, dedication, and kindness, Felipe de Jesus Peña was known to all as a hard worker who never shied away from a task, no matter how great or small. He dedicated his life to providing for and supporting his family, working tirelessly to ensure their well-being. He never sought recognition, always content with knowing that his loved ones were cared for.

Born on May 19, 1939, he was the proud father of 8 children, each of whom he guided with love and wisdom. His legacy lives on through his 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren, who fondly remember him for his warm heart, gentle spirit, and humble nature. His life was a testament to the values of hard work, integrity, and unconditional love.

Though he was a man of few words, Felipe de Jesus Peña had a presence that was felt by all who knew him. He had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcomed and supported. His love for his family knew no bounds, and his memory will forever be etched in our hearts.

Felipe de Jesus Peña is survived by his children: Martha, Esmeralda, Mario, Consuelo, Pedro, Zulma, and Hermila. He is preceded in death by his wife Hermila Gomez de Peña and Oscar Peña.

Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Con profundo pesar y amor anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido padre, abuelo, bisabuelo y tatarabuelo, Felipe de Jesús Peña, a la edad de 85 años. Falleció en paz, rodeado de su familia, el 6 de marzo de 2025.

Hombre de inquebrantable fortaleza, dedicación y bondad, Felipe de Jesús Peña fue conocido por todos como un trabajador incansable que nunca rehuyó una tarea, sin importar cuán grande o pequeña fuera. Dedicó su vida a sustentar y mantener a su familia, trabajando incansablemente para asegurar su bienestar. Nunca buscó reconocimiento, siempre contento con saber que sus seres queridos estaban bien atendidos.

Nacido el 19 de mayo de 1939, fue el orgulloso padre de 8 hijos, a cada uno de los cuales guió con amor y sabiduría. Su legado perdura a través de sus 24 nietos, 31 bisnietos y 7 tataranietos, quienes lo recuerdan con cariño por su cálido corazón, su espíritu amable y su carácter humilde. Su vida fue un testimonio de los valores del trabajo duro, la integridad y el amor incondicional.

Aunque era un hombre de pocas palabras, Felipe de Jesús Peña tenía una presencia que se sentía en todos los que lo conocieron. Tenía una extraordinaria capacidad para hacer que todos se sintieran bienvenidos y apoyados. Su amor por su familia era inmenso, y su recuerdo permanecerá grabado para siempre en nuestros corazones.

A Felipe de Jesús Peña le sobreviven sus hijos: Martha, Esmeralda, Mario, Consuelo, Pedro, Zulma y Hermila. Le precedieron en la muerte su esposa, Hermila Gómez de Peña, e hijo Oscar Peña.

Aunque ya no esté entre nosotros, su legado perdura en los corazones de todos los que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo.

A visitation for Felipe will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 14, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas. A committal service will occur Friday, March 14, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas.
